Delayed Reaction

I think I get it... Thanks to Jon Stewart's interview with John O'Hara. All this tea party "Obama is a socialist Hitler out to destroy freedom" crap... It's just the delayed reaction to the tyrannical reign from the Bush administration.

They had their foot down so tightly on Lady's Liberty's neck while they stripped her of her civil rights and raped, pillaged and plundered the whole of America, that the nation passed out from the shock of it all.

While some of us stayed lucid enough to elect someone to stop the assault and heal the damage, the rest of the country has just now come out of it's post traumatic coma and are ready to raise plow-shares against the king.. but, alas they are an administration too late.

On the other hand, was Lady Liberty asking for it? Isn't this the expected outcome of courting a President based mostly on the fact he'd make a good drinking Buddy. They, then, drank the lady under the table, well, from that point on, the government had the right to enter my home without a warrant or probable cause, arrest me without charging me, and detain me indefinitely without trial while they torture me without the protection of our constitution.

Now that everyone is awake, maybe we can steer those of us that are still somewhat disoriented to the right direction to vent their outrage towards those that are truly in power, the financial insurance and energy consortia that robbed us of our savings, our homes, our health and left us stranded out in the cold while they shipped our jobs overseas and the politicians tucked in their expensive suit pockets.
